SAN ANTONIO—January 9, 2026—The San Antonio Bar Foundation (SABF) is pleased to announce its 2026 class of 22 newly elected Fellows. Selection as a Foundation Fellow is by nomination only and restricted to members of the San Antonio Bar Association (SABA). Fellows must demonstrate professional achievement, an exemplary reputation and commitment to the legal community. Each year’s class is limited to no more than one third of one percent of SABA members and subject to confirmation by the Foundation Board of Trustees. Today, the program is comprised of more than 650 Fellows who volunteer and financially support the Foundation’s program and mission. Thank you to the SABF Fellows Nomination Committee; Chair Patricia Rouse Vargas, Blakely Fernandez, Guillermo Hernandez III, Juanmarcos Bañales and Lauren Valkenaar, for their dedication to selecting this year’s class and for their continued support of SABF and its mission.

Since 1984, the San Antonio Bar Foundation (SABF) has served as the philanthropic arm of the San Antonio Bar Association.
